On a modified streamline curvature method for the Euler equationsA modification of the streamline curvature method leads to a quasilinear second-order partial differential equation for the streamline coordinate function. The existence of a stream function is not required. The method is applied to subsonic and supersonic nozzle flow, and to axially symmetric flow with swirl. For many situations, the associated numerical method is both fast and accurate.
