Dynamic Delamination Buckling In Composite LaminatesProcedure for mathematical modeling of dynamic delamination buckling and propagation of delamination, with plate bending elements and multipoint constraints, developed and incorporated into finite-element computer program. Predicts time at which delamination buckling occurs, shape of dynamic-buckling mode, and strain-energy-release rate due to extension of delamination crack. Method extended to handle such other defects as transply and edge cracks.
