Solution convergence study during launch phase using limited tracking dataOrbit determination accuracies during critical phases at launch, when data are available from only one station, can be enhanced using angle data with conventional Doppler and range data. A study performed on the forthcoming Japanese ETS-5 mission indicates that this requires correct handling of the angle biases. This was verified using actual tracking data received from the BS-2B launch.
