Using satellite data to aid in diagnosing and forecasting convective development and intensity along arc cloud linesThe convective scale interactions associated with the arc cloud line are studied using GOES data. Studies of convective scale interactions are reviewed and the convective scale interaction phenomena is described. The use of satellite data in nowcasting and forecasting convective storms is discussed.
