Thermoviscoplastic nonlinear constitutive relationships for structural analysis of high-temperature metal matrix compositesA set of thermoviscoplastic nonlinear constitutive relationships (TVP-NCR) developed for application to high-temperature metal matrix composites (HT-MMC) is described. The structural response of a turbine blade, made from fiber-reinforced superalloy HT-MMC and subject to representative loading conditions, is evaluated. Results indicate that this set of TVP-NCR is computationally effective.
