Fluid flow phenomena in the generation of boron carbide suspensions in magnesium meltsA mathematical representation is developed for the behavior of moderately concentrated magnesium-boron carbide suspensions when subjected to electromagnetic stirring or mechanical agitation. A power-law relationship is employed for the apparent non-Newtonian viscosity of the suspension.
