Absorption Of Gases By Glassy PolymersReport discusses solubility of gas in glassy polymer, both above and below glass-transition temperature (Tg). Thermodynamic arguments brought to bear on previously-developed mathematical models, result being new model that enables calculation of infinite-dilution partial molar volume of solvent in glass or liquid solvent from data on pressure, volume, and temperature of solute in equilibrium with solvent.
