Solution algorithms for the two-dimensional Euler equations on unstructured meshesThe objective of the study was to analyze implicit techniques employed in structured grid algorithms for solving two-dimensional Euler equations and extend them to unstructured solvers in order to accelerate convergence rates. A comparison is made between nine different algorithms for both first-order and second-order accurate solutions. Higher-order accuracy is achieved by using multidimensional monotone linear reconstruction procedures. The discussion is illustrated by results for flow over a transonic circular arc.
