The effect of multiple nucleation events on heterogeneous nucleation ratesThe effect of multiple nucleation events on the overall heterogeneous nucleation rate is studied using a simple model based on coupled consecutive chemical reactions. It is found that the decay of the nucleation curve and the saturation time depend on the maximum number of nuclei which can be accomodated on a particle.
