Space-time evolution of whistler mode wavegrowth in the magnetosphereThe modeling and simulation of the growth of ducted single-frequency whistler-mode waves through cyclotron resonance with radiation belt electrons are considered. The Siple transmitter and a geomagnetically conjugate receiving station are used for the present study. The results can be applied to slowly varying frequency signals and to broadband 'noiselike' signals.
