Polyphenylquinoxalines Via Aromatic Nucleophilic DisplacementProcess for synthesis of polyphenylquinoxalines (PPQ's) involves nucleophilic displacement reactions of di(hydroxyphenyl) quinoxaline monomers with activated aromatic dihalides. New process costs less than other processes for synthesis of PPQ's. Facilitates synthesis of PPQ's of new and varied molecular structures. Useful as adhesives, coatings, films, membranes, and matrices for composites.
