Optical Modeling Of Segmented Mirror TelescopesReport describes how to model optical-path-length errors caused by errors in fabrication and alignment of hexagonal segments of segmented mirror telescope. Study motivated by trend toward lightweight designs of astronomical reflectors composed of such segments, deployed or erected on ground or in space.
