A rigorous testing methodology for control systemsThis paper discusses the development of a generalized verification testing methodology as applied to control systems. The methodology is based upon determining inputs that rigorously test each element of a system in order to verify that it has been specified properly. The methodology was successfully applied to testing of Boeing 737 autoland control system.
