An intelligent control system for rocket engines - Need, vision, and issuesSeveral components of intelligence are defined. Within the context of these definitions an intelligent control system for rocket engines is described. The description includes a framework for development of an intelligent control system, including diagnostics, coordination, and direct control. Some current results and issues are presented.
