A review of extraterrestrial magnetosphere research, 1987-1989A review of research carried out during the biennium 1987-1989 on the magnetospheres of planets other than the earth is presented. The first part of the review consists of an overview and comparison of the work done in the area of radio astronomy of the two planets, Jupiter and Uranus. The second half of the review is composed of brief summaries of papers published in the literature dealing with the magnetospheres of Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune.
