Theoretical study of the spectroscopy of Al2(+)The electronic states of Al2(+) below about 40,000/cm are studied using a CASSCF/MRCI approach in a large Gaussian basis set. The computed spectroscopic constants, excitation energies, Einstein coefficients, and radiative lifetimes should give insight into the spectroscopy of this ion.
