Overview of the NASA Ames-Dryden Integrated Test FacilityAn overview of the Integrated Test Facility (ITF) and the real-time systems being developed to operate it are outlined. The generic capabilities of the ITF real-time systems, the real-time data recording, and the remotely augmented vehicle (RAV) monitoring system are discussed. The benefits of applying simulation to aircraft-in-the-loop testing and the RAV monitoring system capabilities to the X-29A flight research program are considered.
