A survey of spacecraft thermal design solutionsA number of thermal projects are outlined giving a perspective on the scope and depth of activities in the thermal control group. A set of designs are presented in a form to illustrate some of the more innovative work. Design configurations, solution techniques, and flight anomalies are discussed. Activities include the instruments of the Hubble Space Telescope, Space Station Freedom, and Spacelab.
