Complex three-dimensional internal flows in the ASRM and RSRM aft end segmentsResults from computational fluid dynamic analyses for complex three dimensional flows in the Advanced Solid Rocket Motor (ASRM) and Redesigned Solid Rocket Motor (RSRM) are presented. In particular, a parametric study for the case of a gimballed nozzle in these motors at various burn times and gimbal angles is presented. The resultant pressure fields are used to determine the location of the center of pressure and hinge moments due to the internal flow of these geometries.
