Microphysics of polar stratospheric cloudsTheoretical research on the microphysics of polar stratospheric clouds (PSCs) is reviewed. Problems discussed include microphysical features of PSCs, the Antarctic ozone depletion, and a comparison of PSC microphysical characteristics with those of low-level polar stratus clouds over the Antarctic coast.
