An investigation of nonsimultaneous laser-induced fluorescenceAn alternative to simultaneous, two-line laser-induced fluorescence for thermodynamic property measurement is presented. This spectroscopic approach is similar to multiple-overheat hot-wire anemometry and is based on laser excitation of different fluorescence transitions for separate, sequential wind tunnel runs. Both fluctuating and mean thermodynamic property measurements seem to be achievable with this method without exciting the transitions during the same laser pulse.
