Ultraviolet transition probabilities in N IIOscillator strengths were calculated for the ultraviolet transition array 2p sup 2 - 2p3s in the N II spectrum. Results obtained confirm that the 748 A intercombination line is usually strong as predicted by Fawcett (1987). The results of theoretical weighted oscillator strengths are considered to be reliable.
