Automated System Tests Ferroelectric CapacitorsPolarization-switching parameters measured under computer control. Ferroelectric-capacitor-testing system applies voltage pulses and measures responses of ferroelectric capacitor to determine write; "time dependence of polarization," polarization-retention and fatigue characteristics of capacitor. Highly integrated setup quite flexible, versatile, and interactive, and allows convenient computer storage and analysis of data.
