Continuous-Wave, Diode-Pumped, Tunable Tm,Ho:YLF LaserUnique features include high efficiency and tunability at wavelengths near 2.067 micrometers. Continuous-wave, diode-pumped Tm,Ho:YLF laser tuned by tilting Fabry-Perot etalon and/or adjusting temperature of Tm,Ho:YLF crystal. Proposed for use in remote sensing of winds and in remote sensing of CO2 and H2O, of which many strong absorption lines over-lap laser tuning range. Range extended by tuning to wave-length between CO2 and H2O absorption peaks.
