Compensating For Apparent Strain At High TemperatureControl system maintains compensation strain gauge at same temperature. Technique embodied in proposed system relatively complicated, but in return offers potential advantage of adaptability to wide range of measurement conditions. Should be able to cope with nonrepeatable, nonlinear nature of apparent-strain problem in complicated materials like matrix/fiber composites at high temperatures.
