Project GOSAP (PP-USA.1): Gulf offshore satellite applications projectThe Gulf offshore satellite applications project (GOSAP) was carried out in order to determine how best to use remote sensing technology to address offshore problems and operations faced by marine engineering organizations. The potentials of satellite-based offshore exploration, ocean engineering and environmental applications using combined satellite and airborne measurements are investigated. The applications include the detection of oil slicks.
