The Corona of the Remarkable Hertzsprung-Gap Giant HR 9024The final report is a study on an ASCA program to record the X-ray spectrum and lightcurve of the bright X-ray source HR 9024 (HD 223460: G1 III), an approximately 2.7 solar mass giant at the red edge of the Hertzsprung gap, a critical juncture in the evolution of magnetically-inspired stellar coronae.
