The Origin of Fullerenes in the 65 Myr Old Cretaceous/Tertiary BoundaryIn this work we have searched for extraterrestrial (ET) helium (He) in fullerenes isolated from several K/T boundary (KTB) sediments. Measurements of He in these KTB fullerene residues revealed He-3/He-4 ratios that can only be explained as ET in origin.
