STS-62 Columbia/Breakfast, Suit-up, Depart O&C, Launch, On-Orbit, LandingFootage of various stages of the STS-62 Columbia launch is shown, including shots of the crew at breakfast, getting suited up, and departing to board the Orbiter. The launch is seen from many vantage points, as is the landing. On-orbit activities show the crew performing medical experiments, such as using the Lower Body Negative Pressure unit, and during a demonstration of the effects of microgravity using M&Ms and marshmallows. The Gulf of Mexico and a hurricane are seen from the Orbiter.
