The NEAR-Shoemaker X-Ray Spectrometer: Latest Results and Future Analysis PlansThe NEAR XRS observed the asteroid 433 Eros in low orbit for nearly six months. Elemental ratios are most consistent with a primitive chondrite and give no evidence of global differentiation. Further analysis of this large data set will continue. Additional information is contained in the original extended abstract.
