Accuracy of the Residual Delay Absolute Phase AlgorithmInterferometric synthetic aperture radar (IFSAR) has become a useful technology for producing high-quality topographic maps. These measurements are required to reconstruct the three-dimensional coordinate of a point in an IFSAR image: the range, azimuth and elevation. The first is obtained by timing the return of the radar pulse, the second by measuring the doppler shift, and the last by measuring the phase difference between the signals received at two displaced antennae.
