GPS Observations of Postseismic Deformation Associated With the 1994 Northridge EarthquakeMeasurement of postseismic deformation following the 1994 M 6.7 Northridge earthquake indicates continued shortening of the region since the earthquake with motion slowing over a an exponential time scale of 3 years. Afterslip best explains the data, but that is still being tested.
