Mars Pathfinder Atmosphere Entry Trajectory DesignThe Mars Pathfinder spacecraft will enter the Martian atmosphere directly from the interplanetary trajectory, at a relatively high velocity. The design of the nominal entry trajectory, and the accurate determination of potential trajectory dispersions, is necessary for the development of the Pathfinder Entry, Descent, and Landing (EDL) System.
