Stationary Properties of High Critical Temperature Proximity Effect Josephson JunctionsThe data is reviewed about superconductor-normal-superconductor (SNS) devices, and the conclusion is drawn that there is no conventional proximity effect in the majority of reported high Tc devices. The present experimental and theoretical understanding of SNS junctions is discussed as well as implications for future research.
