Transient Temperature Behavior of a Sphere Heated by MicrowavesWe have developed a model for microwave heating of a sphere in a rectangular resonant cavity. The model calculates transient temperature distributions within a sphere during the approach to steady state conditions or on the path to thermal runaway.
