Methyl Chloride V5 Region Line Shape Parameters and Rotational Constants for the V2, V5 and 2V3 Vibrational BandMethyl chloride (CH3Cl) is relatively abundant in the Earth's atmosphere, and because it is easily photodissociated is an important source of the chlorine atoms which are involved in the destruction of atmospheric ozone.
