Overview of the Hydros radar soil moisture algorithmIn this paper, we will describe the Hydors algorithms to derive soil moisture from L-band polarimetric radar measurements. the baseline Hydros radar algorithm to estimate soil moisture is composed of three steps: land classification, preliminary soil moisture estimation, and final time-series improvement.
