The types of wear debris and extent of surface damage is illustrated for each regime. The role of boundary surface films along with their modes of formation and important physical properties are discussed. In addition, the effects of various operating parameters on friction and wear in the boundary lubrication regime are considered.","isLessonsLearned":false,"disseminated":"DOCUMENT_AND_METADATA","publications":[{"submissionId":19820021582,"id":"b15ead305370436d88b9219dace4329d","publicationDate":"1982-01-01T00:00:00.0000000+00:00"}],"status":"CURATED","related":[],"downloads":[{"draft":false,"mimetype":"application/pdf","name":"19820021582.pdf","type":"STI","links":{"original":"/api/citations/19820021582/downloads/19820021582.pdf","pdf":"/api/citations/19820021582/downloads/19820021582.pdf","fulltext":"/api/citations/19820021582/downloads/19820021582.txt"}}],"downloadsAvailable":true,"index":"submissions-2026-07-16-04-12"}
