The thermodynamic properties of oxygen and nitrogenThe development of a single equation of state for oxygen and nitrogen based on the thermodynamic properties of the gases is described. The coefficients of the equation of state were determined by simultaneous least squares fits to values of isochoric heat capacity and saturation density values used to define the criteria for phase equilibrium. Tables of data for the conditions of both gases are included.
