The Hall Current Plasma AcceleratorA theoretical and experimental investigation has been made of the operation of a relatively new type of plasma accelerator - the Hall Current Accelerator. This device employs the radial component of a fringing magnetic field, a Hall induced current, and an axial discharge to obtain the electromagnetic acceleration of a neutral plasma.
