Space Electrical PowerThe objectives and achievements of the development program for space electrical power systems are discussed. Power requirements for various space projects and products of power development research are considered. Research on the radiation-resistant n-p solar cell, thin-film solar cells, and rechargeable batteries is outlined. The development of Snap-8 is also discussed.
