Metal parts hydrosized by explosive forceLarge metal parts are sized by a charge exploded above a sealed container filled with evacuated die and water. Explosive hydrosizing achieves close dimensional tolerances, eliminates damage to the surface, and allows longer force application and more even pressure distribution.
