Performance characteristics of a jet-flap rotorResults of an experimental investigation of the characteristics of a jet-flap rotor are presented and discussed. Comparisons of the rotor's force-producing capabilities with those of a conventional rotor are made which show the jet-flap rotor to be operable well beyond standard rotor stall boundaries. Correlations are made between measured and calculated results which show generally goon agreement.
