Experimental scaling study of fluid amplifier elementsStudy examines scaling parameters of three fluid amplifier elements - a bistable device, a boundary layer control device, and a vortex device. Variations in performance due to size, fluid, and other conditions are studied. Even with restricted examples the large number of variables impedes the establishment of these scaling laws.
