Soft metal plating enables hard metal seal to operate successfully in low temperature, high pressure environmentSoft metal plating of hard metal lip seal enables successful operation of seal in a cryogenic fluid line under high pressure. The seal is coated with a thin film of 24 carat gold on the lip area to provide antigall and seal properties.
