Computer program uses characteristics method for free-jet investigationComputer program computes the free-jet boundary contours and other flow properties within the exhaust plume from highly underexpanded nozzles operating in near-vacuum conditions. The calculations are made by the method of characteristics which makes use of three-dimensional irrotational equations of flow.
