Lectures in Applied Mathematics. Volume 5 - Space Mathematics, Part 1The present Proceedings should acquaint the reader with the current state of research on the behavior of nonpropulsive space vehicles, indicate the more pressing unsolved problems, and furnish examples of mathematical techniques which are currently useful. It is hoped that the reader will be stimulated to make contributions of his own, either in the way of developing better mathematical techniques, or finding more ingenious uses of existing ones.
