Survey of Space Flight Decks Used at ABMAThe method of the varicenter is-in the form it is used here-a generalization of the method of Encke, and it is developed to overcome certain difficulties of Encke's method which arise when the space vehicle
does not remain in the neighborhood of one body, i.e., in a prevailing central field. It can be used for all types of space trajectories (orbits of Earth satellites, Moon £light trajectories, and interplanetary flights).
