High-strength magnetic materialsTwo new precipitation-hardened magnetic alloys are suitable for operation in 800 to 1600 deg F range. One is a martensitic alloy and the other a cobalt-based alloy. They possess improved creep resistance and have application in high temperature inductors and alternators.
