Pseudo-saturating power converterRelative performance of three basic configurations of electronic conversion units (saturating, pseudo-saturating, nonsaturating) requiring low power levels is compared. Pseudo-saturating mode exhibits best overall performance, nonsaturating a close second, saturating a poor third.
